We make it our passion to nurture a sense of discovery, joy, and wonder in every child.

Nidhi has a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics (Honours) as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Education and a Post Graduate certificate in Educational Leadership from James Cook University. She began her teaching career in 1984 and has since then taught students from 3 years to 17 years of age.

With a track record of excellence in leadership roles (as Principal in New Delhi, Moscow and Singapore) at prestigious international schools since 1999, Nidhi is a committed and resourceful educationist with a genuine interest in students’ cognitive, social and emotional growth. She is skilled in driving academic improvement through curriculum development and teacher training, and has a propensity for governing schools, including executing strategy, organizational vision and mission.

Her strengths include building and motivating top performing teams, enhancing operational effectiveness through expertise, and leading organizations through critical transitions. Particularly, she has experience scaling business models for schools through their start-up phase; in her most recent role as Principal in an acclaimed international school in Singapore, Nidhi played a key role in developing and implementing the curriculum, many of the operational systems in place, and managed a team of 80 teachers and staff.

Nidhi’s peers have referred to her as “an inspirational leader and reflective practitioner with clear vision” who “encourages collaboration, sets ambitious targets for herself and others, and promotes a culture of positive aspirations and team spirit among students and staff.”

Nidhi is now leveraging her experience and knowledge of child psychology to lead United World Preschool, a progressive micro-school that focuses on value based education and teaching 21st century skills to the students. She believes parents face many big decisions, and none is bigger than early education. As the Academic Director of UWP, she and her team of passionate educators aim to nurture a sense of discovery, joy, and wonder in every child.
