Roles & Responsibilities
- Have experience in obtaining ECDA licensing and ensure that all compliances are met
- Be well-versed in all health and safety regulations from local regulatory agencies and be able to liaise with relevant agencies to ensure smooth functioning of the school
- Mentor, guide teachers and most importantly lead by example
- Remain abreast of the latest pedagogical developments
- Facilitate collaborative approaches in planning, teaching and delivery of the curriculum through weekly staff meetings,
- Manage teaching and support staff such that the school standards are consistently high in all areas
- Evaluate student and staff performance regularly and take corrective action as deemed necessary
- Participate in annual budget projections and control expenditures
- Monitor collection of tuition fee, keep meticulous records of all collections
- Manage expenses and disburse cash for approved purchases
- Maintain meticulous records of all expenditures
- Prepare and send out monthly reports by the 2nd of every month for the board
- Conduct 20 hours of professional development training every year
- Supervise, plan, develop events through the year that will help to engage students and parents
- Organise field trips
- Help with marketing and admission efforts
- Demonstrate excellent organisational skills
- Be articulate and have good public speaking skills
- Have a sense of humour and a love for children
Job Requirements
- Be a Diploma in Early Childhood Education – Teaching & Leadership is a must
- Preferably have a degree in Early Childhood Education
- Have minimum 3 years’ teaching and management experience in a childcare/preschool
- Possess excellent organisational skills and public speaking skills
- Have a sense of humour and a love for children
- Possess excellent classroom management skills
- Demonstrate exemplary organisational skills
- Be a team player
- Be willing to go beyond the call of duty
- Be positive and open to feedback
- Have excellent computer skills and be technologically adept
- Be a Singaporean citizen/ Permanent Resident
